Stonewall 50th Anniversary at NYC World Pride 2019

The BB Team was excited to welcome friends from everywhere to New York City to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, and simultaneously World Pride 2019!

SHORT BUT LONG PRIDE MARCH

The Pride March planners once again shortened and altered the route to accommodate the record crowd and record number of entrants. Still, the parade was a marathon and went for over 9 hours. That has to be a world record!

The world was there with Pride marching contingents from almost every continent. Kudos if you watched the whole thing or waited forever to march in it!

Party HardyOur contingent of friends from Fort Lauderdale flew in with at least 25 gay men.

We went to the huge WE and Pride Island parties, and danced to some of the biggest LGBTQ divas and supporters like Cyndi Lauper, Bette Midler and Madonna!

Some of us made it inside the newest US National Monument, the Stonewall Inn, where upstairs bartenders and DJ who are friends gave us the VIP treatment!
