We Are Magic — Wicked Manors Halloween 2022

You know that Halloween is the official gay holiday. But did you know that Wilton Manors, the gay city almost surrounded by Fort Lauderdale, Florida, hosts the biggest Halloween street party in the Southeast? Luckily the BB Team was there right in the center of it!

We Are Magic — Wicked Manors Halloween 2022 brought out thousands of revelers to the streets, restaurants and bars on Halloween night.

Perfect Florida warm fall weather with low humidity allowed scantily dressed House of Dragon trainers, devils, witches, bunnies, construction workers, cowboys, pharaohs, kilt Highlanders … Plus the usually year-round assortment of twinks in jockstraps, daddies, bears, leathermen + leatherboys, butch + lipstick lesbians, and of course a few Chers!

Wilton Drive (The Drive) was closed to vehicular traffic. Besides the main stage, at least six bars hosted their own outdoor music stages up and down the Drive.

$10 entry and other donations went to the Pride Center at Equality Park located a few blocks away, and hundreds of volunteers from other LGBTQ non-profit agencies joined to help at the entrance booths, security and safety.
